Can an au pair become a member if she/he did not come through an au pair agency?
For security reasons we cannot currently accept applications from au pairs who did not come through a UK-based au pair agency. However, we are interested to know how much demand there is for this service so please email us at enquiries@aupairfriends.com and we will contact you if and when we are in a position to extend membership to non-agency au pairs.
Can I apply online for membership?
Unfortunately not. In order to maintain security we require a completed application form, together with a personal cheque, by post. Forms are available from participating au pair agencies.
If an au pair leaves before one year can the membership be transferred to another au pair?
No. Membership is not transferable from one au pair to another and not refundable.
Does aupairfriends.com cover all the UK?
This service was started in the home counties in September 2003. It is being expanded across the country. Your agency will let you know which counties are currently covered or email us at enquiries@aupairfriends.com
